It contains approximately 70–80% anacardic acid, along with cardol, cardanol, and trace methyl cardol, making it chemically active and suitable for modification into various resins and industrial intermediates.
Unlike petroleum-based chemicals, CNSL is renewable, non-toxic, and biodegradable, offering industries an eco-friendly alternative.
